Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Background Remover Figma plugin ("the Service"). By installing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Service Description

The Service is a Figma plugin that removes image backgrounds using a cloud AI vision service and returns a transparent PNG. Feature availability may change over time.

2. Free Tier and Subscriptions

The Service offers a free tier of 3 background removals per day. Unlimited usage is available through a paid subscription ("Pro") at $4 per month.

Payments and subscriptions are processed by Creem, acting as our Merchant of Record. By subscribing, you also agree to Creem's terms. Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current paid period, after which usage reverts to the free tier.

3. License Keys

Upon subscribing, you receive a license key that unlocks unlimited usage. You are responsible for keeping your license key confidential. Sharing, reselling, or distributing your license key is prohibited and may result in deactivation.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including attempting to bypass usage limits, overload or disrupt the backend, reverse engineer the Service, or process content that is unlawful or infringes the rights of others.

5. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to the images you process. The Service, including its code and branding, remains the property of its owner. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property beyond use of the Service.

6. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that background removal results will be accurate, uninterrupted, or error-free.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the preceding month.

8. Refunds

Refund requests are handled in accordance with Creem's refund policy as our Merchant of Record. Please contact us or Creem for assistance.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for violations of these Terms. You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
